Perk up the Park - PUP Day

FOJ has a grant opportunity to earn $$ for picking up litter along 2 miles of Highway 11 near Keowee Toxaway State Park. Come to the Picnic (Day Use Area) of KTSP to sign in and pick up supplies and assignments. Look for FOJ Event signs! We will have highly visible Adopt a Highway signs posted along our route to alert traffic of volunteers along the highway.

If trash pickup is not your thing, the pollinator gardens at the KTSP park office could use some attention after the summer. Bring your gardening equipment such as gloves, pruners, and loppers.

FOJ will supply snacks and water for participants. It’s a great way to help us secure more project funds as we accept the challenge to clean up the landscape around our Jocassee Gorges area.
